My name is Es Riggins

Hello to my visitors, this is the story and related topics of my Internet Business Journey.

In this blog I intend to document my successes and failures as I build my own internet empire. How large this ‘Empire’ becomes depends largely on how much effort I put into it and the people I meet along the way. Much like a traditional journey I expect to have great days and days of dismal failure, I will be honest and forthcoming in relating the good, the bad and the ugly to you.

I will honestly review the products I use to get the job done, I will explain how I used the product and exactly how it helped me make forward progress in my empire building quest. To the best of my ability I will also tell you about the products I used that did not benefit me. Maybe I will be the one who failed the product, maybe it was just too complicated or time intensive to use correctly. Time will tell.

I have heard and truly believe that to make it in the Internet Business world you need a coach or a mentor, I know this to be true, unless of course, you are a marketing, technical genius, I am not one of those. If I decide to drive across America, how would I start? In my 20’s, I might have just pointed the car to the west and see where the road ended. I wasn’t going anyplace in particular and it would be an adventure just to see where the road took me. I am older now and if I were to follow that philosophy with regards to an internet business I know exactly where I would end up, you see, I have already been there and it isn’t pretty. You end up exactly where I did, broke and disillusioned. Then I did some soul searching and a critical review of my whole misadventure. Yep, you guessed right, it turned out I had no one to blame but yours truly, Es Riggins. You can’t find a product, rent a list, send out thousands of emails and expect to be successful. If that’s how it worked, everyone would be internet millionaires.

I have enlisted the services, another way of saying I am paying for others, to show me the highway to a successful internet business. I will document each mentoring, coaching and blueprint program I join. I will point out my successes, daily struggles and miserable failures without embellishment, just the facts. I am hoping you will participate and offer suggestions or alternatives to the paths I take. This blog is intended to be a living interactive document for all to learn and grow. Right now we are facing an extremely challenging financial crisis, but we also have an unprecedented financial opportunity in the internet business world. Charles Dickens in a ‘Tale of Two Cities’, wrote, ‘It was the best of times, it was the worst of times’, a phrase that to me just seems timeless, it still applies today.

I prefer to refer to myself as an IMWIP, that term means that I consider myself to be an Internet Marketing Work In Progress. I really don’t like the much over used term of Newbie, it has too many negative connotations. I almost feel like you expect me to say, ‘Duh’ when you first speak to me. So, my fellow IMWIP’s, let’s get rolling.
