Marketing with Alex – Rich Schefren (Bonus Call)
The Mentor’s Mentor, Rich Schefren is Alex Jeffreys current internet marketing coach, Alex credits Rich with getting him to the next level in his business and has set him on the internet millionaire course. Right from the start Rich defined the six key steps to becoming an internet marketing professional. This post is on the large size and I did it in outline format for two reasons; it serves as a guide to model your business processes and two, it does exactly the same thing for me.
A Business by Design:
- What You Want – Clearly and concisely describe what it is that you want this business to do, start with what you don’t want to really be clear about what you want.
- Who are your prospects/customers and what do they want.
- What is the purpose of your business?
- The Simplest Business Model Wins. Rich was talking kind of way over my head in this section. Let me rephrase that, he was talking about business processes and procedures that I feel are so far in the future for me, that by the time I will be able to use it, I will probably have forgotten it.
Your Personal Entrepreneurial Ability:
- Resourceful vs. Searching for Resources. Entrepreneurs figure things out on their own. Spend time trying things on your own.
- Cause and Effect – Intuition. Ask why, and keep asking why until answers come.
- Highest and Best Use. Of your time, money and efforts.
- The Ability to Systemize. What you do and breaking it down visually. A suggestion here is to download the Internet Manifesto (it’s free).
Your Ability to Learn and Apply:
- Just in Time vs. Just in Case, don’t learn something or buy a product until you are ready to use it.
- Understanding Your Brain; Mind maps, mind maps, mind maps. It helps you to build relationships between ‘things’ and retain the information.
- Rapid Learning Secrets; Rich talked and explained the theory behind speed reading, speed watching and speed listening. It’s really a change of mindset and willingness to initially not understand anything. This helps you to consume and process information faster than others. Speed listening is the easiest to master and manage.
Your Ability to Create Killer Products, Rapidly; this topic is extremely difficult to nail down, but there is an easier way to create a new product, once you find out what it is you want to create.
- Use Amazon as a research tool and read the readers comments on the books they read, that relate to your product
- Use only one format for a product and get good at it.
- Create your products in chunks, logically related segments.
Your Ability to Partner; it is the fastest way to grow your business, for instance, if you can sell, find a partner who has a great product, but can’t sell. You get the idea
Your Ability to Manage; without developing this ability you will never actually be free of your business, and eventually will be a slave to your business instead of your employer.
Rich Schefren spoke for a minimum of one and a half hours and the call was packed with helpful, inspiring information. There was a truckload of takeaways in this bonus call and I will be listening to this call again and again to make sure I retain as much as possible.
And Rich Schefren wrapped up the call with an introduction to his latest product for an ongoing business training membership to a really ground floor business building monthly seminars and reports about the latest innovative marketing methods that are currently in play with the biggest internet marketers.
